Urban Arts

Art on the wall has been masterfully done and celebrated throughout history. In many countries around the world it was the preferred means of beautification in churches, palaces, or public buildings. It was also a way to express power, wealth, and importance. Murals from Mexico City to Rome, from Byzantine churches to the Sistine Chapel, have attracted the interest of societies. In them, our eyes see statements of our humanity, our histories, our cultures, our desire to transcend the here and now.

In this section we are simply offering a peek at the abundance of beauty that exists all over the world, painted on walls. May these examples bring wonder to our hearts and minds.
