Maybe, Something, Beautiful.

After seeing the Tribe movie I was reminded of the love I have for that time in music and just how amazing this group of brothers are. I was also sadden by the chaos that exist between these artist that form it, it seems so small in my eyes.

But u know, I’m not sure if the movie does a good enough job in explaining their history and their music. It does not stand on it own without them.

But regardless, i love the doc just the same.

Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest

Michael Rapaport doc on Tribe that has been filled with so much drama between him and the group. A part of me does not want to see it because of the comments of Tip, but the fanboy part of my says otherwise.
